For Immediate Release Contact: Molly Goodall: 469-952-3911 Art House Opens New Location in McKinney Studio Art House, an art school and gallery, has just opened a new location at 4150 W. Eldorado Parkway, in McKinney, Texas. It is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 to 9:00PM, and other days by appointment or class schedule. The phone number is 469-952-3911. E-Mail: arthousemckinney@yahoo.com Currently it is our privilege to serve three communities (Flower Mound, Coppell, and McKinney) with an Art House and in addition to share partnership programs with multiple private schools and other educational facilities. Studio Art House classes provide students of all ages with an education in art theory and art history as well as the needed skills and techniques to make meaningful two and three dimensional art work. Each student's life will be improved through the art experience. Self esteem, fine-motor skills and overall scholastic achievement is improved through art education. The sleek, modern 1300 square foot studio is open and airy and features twenty foot ceilings. It contains two Studio Artist Classrooms (ages 7-18), a Young Artist classroom (ages 3-6), a large workshop classroom, and a retail space with unique art supplies. Other specialties include art parties, scout badges, fashion design camps and classes for teens; and weekend workshops for adults with local and nationally known artists. The McKinney location is managed by Molly Goodall. Goodall moved to the Dallas area two years ago from New York when she married her husband, who moved to Texas from London, England. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Parsons School of Design in New York in 1997. She is an award winning artist who works primarily in watercolors and oils, particularly known for her photorealistic watercolor technique. She taught Studio Artist and adult classes at the Flower Mound Art House in 2004 and 2005, until moving to McKinney in April of 2005 to open the new location. Studio Art House, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Kathleen House and daughter Jennifer Rogers of Flower Mound, Texas. Both women hold art degrees from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. Each has a dedicated philosophy to encourage the artist within all of us through quality art instruction and meaningful art experiences, and both are working artists in a variety of media.
