January 1, 2006- Want your poop scooped? That’s right…Mike and Holly Camfield of Mckinney Tx have just launched their second pet related business, since moving here from Plano only 3 months ago. Poo Poo Busters cleans dog waste from homeowner's yards on a twice weekly, weekly, or every other week basis. Dog owners in Mckinney and the surrounding areas are celebrating. No more poop to scoop this year. Poo Poo Busters will collect the waste, bag it for you, and haul it away. For weekly service, customers pay $43.33 a month.
Mike and Holly launched Puppy Love Pet Nanny’s just Last month, but with the increasing demand for a Mckinney based poop scooping service, they felt the time was right to branch off and offer this service to Mckinney residents as well.
With so many single parent and double income families, most people just don’t have time to scoop up after Fido. What most people don’t realize is, dog waste can attract insects, and it’s loaded with parasites and diseases. Additionally, it can ruin the appearance of your property, get tracked into the house on your shoes, and even contaminate the ground water supply.
“Picking up after your pets who run throughout your yard is an important part of being a responsible dog owner”, Mike says. “Oh sure, I’ve heard all the jokes already”, laughs Mike. “But once people realize that this is a serious business the jokes stop immediately.”
“Using our service accomplishes a lot more than just keeping yards clean. We are also helping out the environment. Unlike scoopers in other areas of the country who leave the dog waste in the customer’s trash, We haul it away and dispose of it properly.
Business has been “picking up” at a rapid rate. Mike and Holly see no end in sight to the ever-increasing growth rate. Poo Poo Busters currently serves Mckinney, Allen, Frisco, Plano, Melissa, Prosper and the surrounding areas as well. “I have priced my services reasonably so no one can under-cut me. Besides, families know how much I love what I doo, and those families love what I doo for them, even if it’s just scooping poop.”
