Full Description:
Rick Chaffin, a former city administrator in Roswell, has been hired as assistant city manager for the City of McKinney where he will oversee McKinney's Public Safety, Development Services, Public Works and Parks & Recreation Departments.
Chaffin has served as city manager in three other communities--Griffin, Mount Pleasant, and Lampasas-- and was past president of the Texas City Manager's Association (Region 5).
The new assistant City Manager has a Master of Urban Affairs degree from Virginia Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Texas-Tyler.
