DONATIONS MAKE A MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR NON-PROFITS

People who donated food, gifts, clothing, coats, and blankets to the Samaritan Inn in McKinney made a very memorable Christmas for the Inn's 120 residents. Many of them and others also brightened the holiday for clients of other non-profit and charitable organizations in McKinney and Collin County who received generous donations.
The Samaritan Inn houses homeless people and offers classes to help them rent their own apartment or home, or eventually purchase one. Thirty percent of the Inn's residents are children ages 10 and younger, who received scooters and roller skates, among other gifts for Christmas, according to Lynne Sipiora, the executive director of the Samaritan Inn.
