McKinney Public Library will host nationally know guest speaker Brenda Kellow on January 24, 2009 for a free genealogy program. Many researchers are familiar with the Federal Population Censuses. In fact, usually they are just referred to at “the census”. But there are a number of other censuses taken through the years that can be helpful to a family history researchers. Brenda will tell us all about them and teach us how to effectively mine them for information on our ancestors. The program will be held in the Dulaney Room of the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library at 10:30 am. No pre-registration is required. Call 972-547-7323 for more information
