PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE (The Mckinney Area Newcomers Social Club is an informal gathering of people new to this area. We help you make new friends and find resources in your new community. The club meets on the third Tuesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 West Virginia Parkway, McKinney at 10:00 a.m. for morning coffee. McKinney Girls Softball Association will begin Spring registration November 10th and run through February 27th. Registration can be done online at www.mckinneygsa.com. You can also register on saturdays starting on January 17th and ending on February 21st at the Community Center from 10am-2pm. Our annual McKinney Relay For Life is a community based event in which 200 plus teams of 8-15 participants walk, run or stroll around a track to raise funds for the American Cancer Society to support research and services for people living with cancer.
